Recycling Profile: Rochester, NY

Recycle is a compulsory requirement in Rochester, and every week, commingled curbside selection serves its green needs.

Every family in Rochester pays a compulsory reject and recycling fee through its property tax code, and every family is required to recycle. They are paying for it, after all. The town provides a standard blue recycling bin absolutely 100 % free for every week selection. Just one bin is used for all approved recyclables; commingling these products makes it simple and fast for Rochester citizens.
